About two months ago , i knew that i needed to make a change. I went to the doctor for a check up. He weighed me as they always do , and i realized that i was 23 pounds over weight. It was a rough time. Since then , i have been on a journey to losing weight and coming to a size in which i felt confident , and my body was healthy. I knew there was only one option that would work me. I needed to find an exercise workout plan that i could do to lose the weight. The thought of this scared me at first, because i don't usually work out. As soon as i got home, i pulled out my laptop. I searched in Google for some easy exercise plans. A lot of them seemed to be too hard at first, and i knew that i was not physically capable of performing them. As i kept searching , i noticed that a lot of the articles i was reading suggested that for faster results, i needed to eat right too. I kept that in mind. I could not come to a decision about which one i wanted to go with, because they all seemed too difficult.I finally decided that i would make my own exercise plan. This is how i did it. First, i determined which parts of my body i needed to decrease the amount of fat in. Arms, legs , and stomach all fit into that category. Then i came up with three exercises for each targeted part of my body. For legs , i came up with squats , leg lifts, and scissor kicks on the floor. For arms i came up with push-ups, weight lifts and also wall push-ups. And last but not least i came up with crunches, leg hold and ball crunches for my abs and stomach. On top of all of this i incorporated jogging for thirty minutes a day into my personalized exercise routine. Jogging will cause you to lose weight all around, and it is also good for your heart so this is a win situation both ways. I wrote out my exercise plan in colorful letters. It was pretty so it would keep me motivated. Every day i completed it i added a sticker to that day on my calendar. I did this exercise straight for thirty days. I avoided weighing myself until the end of my journey. On day 31 i made a trip to the store to purchase a scale. I weighed myself. I looked at the ceiling in anxiousness and anticipation. The seconds that it took the scale to calculate my weight felt like thirty years. I looked down , and discovered that i had lost a whopping 37pounds! I lost 37 pounds in a month. I was extremely proud of myself. I was shocked! I know that the reason i succeeded with this weight loss exercise plan was because it suited me. I invented it. It involved things that i liked and i was able to do. I also ate right and just kept thinking about how much i wanted to reach my goal. I recommend this to any and everyone because it actually works. Make your own exercise plan because everyone is different. Although having said that I'm still not great at putting together workout programs, and I don't want to be stuck with the skinny-fat look, I was to get really in shape now I've lost some weight! :) I'm thinking of trying out the venus factor actually, has anyone else tried it? A lot of the reviews are very positive but I'm a little undecided still. Add Comment |
